How to get motivated in the morning

The most fantastic feeling is waking up happy, excited, and motivated by a new day. Unfortunately, very few people achieve this every morning.

Instead, they feel anxiety, stress, and the normal weariness of age. I was like this for a long time, until one day I decided not to allow it anymore, to be happy and my life changed completely for the better. And today I am going to share with you 5 ways to motivate you every morning and make your day the way you expect it to be. Come with me!

Step #1: Begin with Thanks

As soon as you wake up, close your eyes again and give thanks for what you have right now. Give thanks followed by a why and direct it to what you believe as your higher self.

For example, thank you for my health, for allowing me to do the things I enjoy most. Do it as often as it comes from your heart.

Be thankful for your family, for the house you have, for your work, for where you live, for your friends. You have many reasons to be thankful.

Appreciation gives you peace, helps your immune system, elevates your mood, reduces stress, In short, it is pure energy that fills your body for good, and you only need to invest 1 minute a day.

Step #2: Visualize your day

In this step, you must visualize how you want your day to be. Many people call this process “Creative Visualization”.

Creative Visualization is a technique that consists of closing your eyes and using your imagination to show on a mental screen what you would like to see happen in your day. It is another proven way of motivating yourself to attract the success you desire.

For example, imagine leaving your house and seeing the streets without much traffic, imagine how you get to work and everything is solutions, imagine how you are going to leave your work time and then you are going to meet that person you want to see so much. And finally, how you are going to end the day, happy reading that book or watching that movie you like so much.

Step #3: Eat Right

Although we don’t realize it, in most families breakfast is the most acidic pH meal of the day. I’m talking about foods like coffee, bread, cereal, jams, butter, orange juice, bacon, cakes, cookies, cookies, etc. Am I wrong? This is immediately reflected in demotivation and in the long run in illnesses in the body.

So to motivate you in the morning, start with a good alkaline breakfast, like a green juice of carrot, celery, apple, honey, and cinnamon to give you that nice touch. Or a bowl of oatmeal with almond or coconut milk, a couple of seasonal fruits and avocado, tomatoes, and spinach on a whole wheat/gluten-free bread. And change the coffee for the Green Tea which is the RedBull that nature has given you.

Step #4: Practice Positive Affirmations

Every word we utter is a decree that manifests itself on the outside. The word is the spoken thought. Do not be surprised or complain if in expressing it you see it happening. You have decreed it. This is a law like the law of gravity.

Therefore remove from your vocabulary any word that conveys fear, rancor, hatred, anger, or envy. And start practicing the positive affirmations, yes those that you like to share so much on Facebook.

For example: “My health is perfect: Every organ in my body is working fine”, “I am happy, healthy, joyful and peaceful”, “I am going to sell 10 policies today”, “I am going to meet that partner I am looking for”.

If you can record your affirmations on your mp3 player and listen to it while you change, while you are in the car on your way to your daily activity. Listen to it when negative thoughts come to you, or something comes into your head that you don’t like.

Step #5: Be Aware that You Decide

You decide how motivated you are going to be. It is your decision. And your decision implies action. Do all these steps for 21 days without rest and you will see those changes you so desire.

If something bad comes your way, always look on the bright side. Don’t lose your motivation, protect it like a Spartan fighting for his city.

Finally, I want to give you some extra tips or ways to motivate yourself that I am sure will help you with this motivation:

  • Drink at least 2 glasses of water
  • Prepare a playlist of 10 songs that will remind you of happy moments and listen to them while you take a shower or do an activity, don’t play those that make you sad
  • Exercise, go for a 5-minute run, do yoga or go to the gym
  • Give smiles, hugs, and kisses to the people who start the day with you
  • Do not turn on the TV or radio, they will only demotivate you
